Writing

I Want to Write, But I don’t Know anything about Writing.

“Writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia.”

― E.L. Doctorow

That’s a great thing. I wrote this article especially for you. If you’ve learned everything about writing, you couldn’t have been taught.

Writing is about self-discovery.

Read books and blogs. Make notes and try to express your thinking in written words.

So, first read whatever attracts you, jot down the essential ideas and practice writing whatever you’ve learned.

Please don’t copy others. You don’t need that.

Don’t feel discouraged if you cannot write on the first attempt. Pick any experience of your life and vomit it on paper.

As a beginner, try to write on paper instead of typing. You’ll enjoy the process of writing. You can also use your non-dominant hand to get new experiences in writing.

Writing is fun. You learn it through living and practicing enough times. The more you practice more you become proficient in writing.
