What To Do When You’ve Nothing To Do?

“One of the worst uses of time is to do something very well that need not be done at all.”

― Brian Tracy, Eat That Frog!: 21 Great Ways to Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done In Less Time

Life is short, and there is a lot to learn. Don’t waste time on unproductive activities like chatting, surfing the net, or watching web series. Utilize your time to learn new skills that can pay you in the long run.

A skill that can’t be monetized is a hobby. Don’t waste your time on something that can’t pay you. Then some activities don’t pay you directly, but they’re an investment. You are reading a book, writing a journal, working in the gym, practicing dance, yoga, martial arts, and listening to instrumental music…

These activities help you to become more productive in your work.

For example, meditation helps you become more focused on a task at hand, martial arts increases your willpower, yoga makes you more flexible, and gym work enables you to gain strength.

Reading a book increases your knowledge base. Scribing a journal helps you to identify repetitive mistakes. Blogs and videos available on the internet can enhance your skill level significantly. Use them wisely.

Utilize the resources that you’ve. You’ve weaknesses indeed, but you can overcome them through awareness.

There is a huge potential inside you. You’ve got a heart. Listen to its beat and focus on your breath. Let the stillness of the moment teach you the lesson of life. Practice mindfulness, and you’ll achieve mastery in your respective field.
