Why “Not” To Write Bad Articles?
“Simple-minded people do things like gossip, lie, spread rumors, and cause trouble. But I know you’re more intelligent.”
― Amaka Imani Nkosazana, Sweet Destiny
There may be a zillion things to concentrate on in life, but there is always a central theme in our lives around which we revolve.
We, as writers, can’t write about anything. We have a niche audience and a theme content around which our life revolves.
Our most precious asset is the reader’s attention and time. We must be careful to pick the topic and the content. We can’t deceive our readers.
We, the artists, see our readers as someone we’re offering a service to, much like we present our thoughts and ideas to God. We can’t gift them garbage of our minds.
There must be an integrated process through which we can eliminate the noise of the work and create the signal that can transform a reader’s life.
If our works can’t create a change in the life of our readers, we’ve failed in our effort and did a dis-service to society.
