What Can You Learn from Your Mistakes?

You'll often commit mistakes, but if you're accepting the error, learning from it, and not repeating that once more, you're on the right path.

“I have learned all kinds of things from my many mistakes. The one thing I never learn is to stop making them.”

― Joe Abercrombie, Last Argument of Kings

If you’re young and committing mistakes, that’s a good thing. It’s better to make mistakes and learn from them than to follow the rules and never learn about alternative ways.

It’s your life, and you’ve to design it uniquely. The models and theories of others are only for guidance. You can’t walk on them if you have a creative mind.

Finding the system that works for you takes time, and you’ve to hustle. You’ll often commit mistakes, but if you’re accepting the error, learning from it, and not repeating that once more, you’re on the right path.

Unfortunately, we live in a system that discourages making mistakes. It criticizes those who fail and praises those who win, forgetting that few of the most remarkable men and women in history were the biggest failures in their life.

If you’re an independent thinker, don’t let the voices of others belittle you. Take risks, and create alternative ways that you wish to walk.

Remember always, it’s better to walk in your way rather than to run on others’ road to success.
