Energy Audit: Where My Time, Money & Attention Go — My Life Follows

Your energy is sacred. Audit it like a temple accountant.

Opening Note:

This isn’t just another “productivity hack.”
This is a mirror.
Held gently. Firmly. Truthfully.

I wrote this not to teach you something —
But to see myself clearly in the chaos of modern life.

If it reflects something in you too,
then welcome to this journey of inner alignment.

The Hidden Leak Most People Never See

We all want change — clarity, wealth, focus.
But before change, there must be an audit.

Not of your tasks.
But of your energy.

Because your energy — not time — is your real wealth.
And if you’re not watching where it flows,
you might be building someone else’s dream
while yours sits in a dusty corner.

“Your phone gets charged every night.
Do you?”

The TMA Framework – Time, Money, Attention

At AnsiAndYou, we call this the TMA Framework — a modern trishula, forged to cut through distraction and doubt.

TIME — Your Breath Made Visible

Time isn’t minutes on a clock.
It’s Prāṇa on a schedule.

Every hour you give to something is an offering.
What are you worshipping today?

Ask:

  • Did I spend today on my real work, or just busy work?
  • What did I do that actually mattered to me?

Do:

  • Choose 3 Essential Tasks each morning that support your Dharma.
  • Schedule deep work like a temple visit — sacred and non-negotiable.

MONEY — The Shakti You Control

Money is not evil.
It’s concentrated life force.

Every rupee you spend is a vote for the world you want to live in.

Ask:

  • Is this an investment in my growth, or an escape from myself?
  • Am I respecting money, or using it to numb?

Do:

  • Keep a “Lakshmi Ledger” — a beautiful notebook just for money.
  • Write down every spend — not for guilt, but awareness.

ATTENTION — Your Inner Agni

Your attention is the most precious gift you have.
Don’t give it to algorithms.
Give it to what you want to grow.

Ask:

  • Who or what got the best of me today?
  • Did I focus, or fragment?

Do:

  • Block 1 hour a day as “No Input Time.” No phone. No consumption.
  • Use it for creation, reflection, or sadhana.

The Daily Energy Audit (Evening Ritual)

Before you sleep, sit for 5 minutes.
Ask yourself, gently but honestly:

Time Money Attention

Where did it go today?

Was it aligned with who I want to be?

What tiny shift will I try tomorrow?

Light a candle. Write a line.
Let it become your inner accounting.

Sankalpa – A Small Vow That Changes Everything

We don’t change life overnight.
We change in moments of clarity, followed by tiny vows kept.

Make your own Sankalpa:

  • “I will not give my mornings to my phone.”
  • “I will honour every rupee I spend.”
  • “I will protect my focus like a flame in the wind.”

Write it. Speak it. Live it.
Your energy will follow.

Closing Offering:

This article is a mirror and a tool.
You can revisit it each month.
Or print it, hang it near your desk.
Or make it a couple’s ritual. A team practice. A solo sadhana.

Because the moment you track your time, money, and attention,
you remember:

“I am not just a consumer of life.
I am its conscious creator.”
