For a long time, I thought I needed more.
A better computer.
A better camera.
A better website.
More tools.
More knowledge.
More reach.
Slowly, I am beginning to see something else.
Perhaps I already have enough to begin.
Years of writing.
Thousands of photographs.
A body of experience.
Work that already exists.
A way of seeing.
And, most importantly, the willingness to keep learning.
The question is no longer:
What else do I need?
It is:
What can I create from what I already have that is genuinely useful to another person?
That question feels different.
It brings me back from acquisition to creation.
From collecting assets to putting them to work.
From being busy to being useful.
Perhaps this is where my real work begins.
