How to Overcome the Writer’s Block?

You name it, and I know every kind of writer's block. You must know these are cheap distractions.

“I have learned over the years that when one’s mind is made up, this diminishes fear.”

– Rosa Parks

It’s not hard to write but to start the writing. Before beginning the practice, our mind is filled with anxieties and fears.

There are thoughts about the past and future, success and failure. Every kind of reason is available to us for not doing the work.

You name it, lack of finances, rotten relationships, bad health, and the villain is in front of us.

There are excuses.

“I’m not feeling good. Let’s continue tomorrow.”

“What will happen in a day?”

“Oh no, I’ve got to call my girlfriend; she is angry.”

“I’ve not responded to the text messages. What will my friends think of me?”

“Writing is not my job. It doesn’t pay me anything.”

“All writers are broke. They are lonely. I don’t want to end up like that.”

You name it, and I know every kind of writer’s block. You must know these are cheap distractions.

Be here now.

Everything will be fine once you’ve decided and settled on your chair to write. The fear will go away.
