There will come a time when all of us are dead. All of us. There will come a time when there are no human beings remaining to remember that anyone ever existed or that our species ever did anything. There will be no one left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra, let alone you. Everything that we did and built and wrote and thought and discovered will be forgotten and all of this will have been for naught. Maybe that time is coming soon and maybe it is millions of years away, but even if we survive the collapse of our sun, we will not survive forever. There was time before organisms experienced consciousness, and there will be time after. And if the inevitability of human oblivion worries you, I encourage you to ignore it. God knows that’s what everyone else does.
– John Green, The Fault In Our Stars
Every moment is unique and ephemeral. It contains the greatest joys of our lives, but because of our negatively charged beliefs and attitudes, we miss the opportunity to enjoy it.
Remember, we’re not here to live 100 years. We have a limited time to spend on this planet, too little to waste on anxiety, sadness, grudge, and resentment. We can’t afford to spare our time thinking about guilt and shame, jealousy and hatred, etc.
We’re the loving kids of the Cosmos. We’re here to share our creativity and kindness with our fellow brothers and sisters. Our work here is to heal this planet with our unconditional love and pure wisdom.
We, the children of God, are the angels sent here from heaven to enjoy the beauty and perfection of this planet, but the problem is raised when we start copying the beliefs and attitudes of Earthians.
Please don’t forget your true nature. Without that, you’ll lose yourself among billions of zombies wandering on this planet without any purpose.
Infatuation, greed, ego, and pride are not our way of living. We have to realize our true nature as perfect beings made up of love.
The greatest challenge for us on this planet is to save ourselves from getting corrupted by the ways of the mass civilization on Earth, I.e., fear, and corruption.
Don’t think about others. Feel yourself and start doing what you love to do. Start a journey of little transformation, and you’ll realize your true potential. Not so far away in the future, you’ll understand the reality behind your existence on this planet.
God bless you. Beautiful post.
