I’m a night owl, and I don’t have time for what you suggest, a “4-hour morning ritual”.

It’s impractical, insane, most people say.
Give me 2 minutes and I’ll show you what you’re missing by not waking up early.

I’m average, but my performance is above average because of one habit.
I wake up when most people are sleeping.

I complete my homework for the day before the sun rises.
Now, let me show you the connection between what I do and what others find hard to do.

It’s another day…
I feel lazy. The resistance is doing her best to beat me. I hate to wake up.

It’s 3.45 a.m.
But I know that once out of bed I’ll be okay. I’ve completed my sleep. Rest is nothing but laziness.

I’ll do three pages of stream-of-consciousness writing, a daily ritual I learned from Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way.
A little meditation for a couple of minutes. I can’t miss that.

Don’t you like that? Reading a book and writing a creative post like this one. I’m a master of my own, and no boss will yell at me.
You’re fired.

The cool breeze on my face, birds chirping, and the morning silence.
It’s 6.00 a.m. and I’m out for a workout. For two hours, I’ll walk, run, stretch & burst my muscles.

A lot of fun. I love that.
Now, I’ve completed my 4-hour morning routine.

It’s 8.00 a.m. Time to take a shower. I’m grateful that today will be one of the best days of my life.
That’s me.

I’ll hunt for other things for the rest of the day but that’s all secondary. I’ve won the day before most people I know are preparing for the rest.
