Wake Up with a Smile on your Face

The first two hours after you wake up, decide your whole day's productivity.

“Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.”

― Thich Nhat Hanh

First, forget what you will accomplish today; learn to smile. Practice compassion. Never criticise yourself after waking up in the morning.

The first two hours after you wake up, decide your whole day’s productivity. Nothing will probably work throughout the day if you’re stressed or depressed right from the start.

Make a habit of smiling and feel grateful for what you’ve got. Be thankful to God for presenting you with the opportunity to correct yourself. Today is the beginning of a new life.

Irrespective of the person who comes into your mind, welcome their appearance and thank them for coming to life.

"I learned a beautiful lesson from you."

From your bed to the toothbrush, express gratitude for everything you have direct contact with. Remove the unnecessary suffering you’re inflicting on yourself by thinking negatively.

Understand that you can’t do anything with all those negative thoughts about yourself and the rest of society.

Please be mindful in the morning and let mindfulness rule your whole day. If you’ve done the warm-up, you’ll hit today’s target.
