“Above all, don’t lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.”
― Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Brothers Karamazov
Irrespective of the mistakes you’ve made in your life, there is hope. That’s called change. You can change yourself.
Life allows us to wash our sins, at least in theory, and I believe in that. To forgive means to forget. Let it go and feel relaxed. A new morning is waiting for us, and you’re thinking about last night. That’s unfair.
No rule book says that guilt and shame are the way to forgiveness. Realizing one’s own mistakes and learning from them is the proper way.
Don’t feel low. You have a bright future. Life is calling you to wake up and receive the call. Answer her, and you’ll find new energy.
We’re not here to judge each other. We’re here to fall in love and help each other in the best possible humane way. I’m no one to say to you that you’re mistaken. Call your shadow, and she’ll tell you the rest of the story.
Please remember my words; this story is fake. It’s what you’ve convinced yourself and narrated all-day long. You’ve spent nights crying, thinking about your sins, and got nothing except more grudge against yourself. Hatred and resentment can’t be the solution to any problem. You’ve to learn how to release those emotions of fear and anxiety.
You’ve to forgive yourself completely. Only then can you bring any positive change in yourself. There is a possibility that you can start loving yourself once again. I’m working on that possibility, and I hope you’ll cooperate with me.
