What to do After Making a Mistake?

I've given you a snapshot of the steps, and by following them, you can improve yourself significantly, and no mistake in your life will go waste.

“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

― Albert Einstein

There are three things that we can do after making a mistake. Let me explain that briefly.

1. Accept the mistake

One of our greatest fears is the fear of being wrong. We don’t want to accept our mistakes even though we know we’re wrong. We don’t want to feel embarrassed in the eyes of others. Hence, our brain’s default setting is to give excuses to prove our point. Please, accept it immediately if you’re wrong. It will lead us to our second point.

2. Learn from the mistake

Whatever happened can’t be reverted. What we can do our best is to learn from that mistake. Examine the details as minute as possible to catch. Ask yourself the questions like how and why it happened.

3. Never repeat that mistake

Forgive yourself and promise never to commit the same mistake again. Genuine commitment is powerful. It will elevate you in the eyes of others, including your own.

I’ve given you a snapshot of the steps, and by following them, you can improve yourself significantly, and no mistake in your life will go waste.
