Be A Good Listener

Be natural and speak from the heart.

So when you are listening to somebody, completely, attentively, then you are listening not only to the words, but also to the feeling of what is being conveyed, to the whole of it, not part of it.

– J. Krishnamurti
Communication is all about listening.

You don’t need to think about the response when you listen to someone with ears and the whole body.

It’s spontaneous. You create a resonance where you communicate to the next person with the vibrations of love.

Most problems arising during a conversation could be made better with good listening habits.

We chat in our minds and wait for the next opportunity to say something. We need to figure out what to say, how, and why.

We’ve no idea of time, space, and character to speak with, and we start speaking.

Result

Arguments, ego clashes, poor debates

The conversation becomes a live hell.

We’re out of the conversation before starting if we don’t know where to say and when to say something.

Please understand that communication is a two-way process. The person with whom you’re conversing is essential. Give her attention. Listen to her and then respond spontaneously.

Be natural and speak from the heart. You’ll emerge as a successful communicator and enjoy the luxury of significant relationships in both personal and professional life.
