How to Stop Getting Addicted to Toxic Relationships?

“Toxic people attach themselves like cinder blocks tied to your ankles, and then invite you for a swim in their poisoned waters.”

― John Mark Green

Many times we want to stay with those who hurt us every time. We don’t have any control over our feelings and fall easy prey to their toxicity.

They know you can’t leave them; hence they exploit you emotionally and financially. Often, few relationships can become so toxic that our soul suffers from negativity.

Understand that few people want to dominate others. They may have a certain kind of aura that attracts us, but their wickedness can swallow our happiness.

For example, you may be tempted to be a young girl who is sexy by appearance but a real witch by inner nature. What kind of relationship can you expect from her?

If you’re in a relationship that is toxic and is not helping you learn and grow in life, without a thought, leave that person and never turn back.

The world is full of millions of humans. In no time, you’ll find someone else to create a beautiful relationship with.

If it’s impossible to leave that relationship, set a clear boundary with that person. Affirm yourself not to be cheated again by her. Be present and witness her reality with naked eyes without attachment and then respond accordingly.
