Forgiveness Can Transform Your Life

Forgiveness can bring miracles in life. When forgiving everyone, including ourselves, there is nothing to hide. We've released everything inside us.

“It is not a person or situation that affects your life; it is the meaning you give to that person or situation, which influences your emotions and actions. Your choice is to change the meaning you gave it or to change your response, in order to create the outcome you want.”

― Shannon L. Alder

Resentment, guilt, shame, criticism, jealousy, and frustration are the emotions that damage us the most. They create a sense of inadequacy and helplessness. We feel lonely, and often it takes us into the ditch of depression where everything seems dark.

Self-criticism and self-abuse have become the norm for us. We try to destroy ourselves in every way. Instead of doing the work that can bring us happiness and success, we find ways of escape.

We try to escape from no one but our authentic selves. We hate everything that can bring light to our lives because we’re afraid to face the world. We hide from everyone. It seems as if the whole world has become a barren land and everyone on this planet is our enemy.

This state of mind is not only dangerous for us but also for those who love us. It’s the state of emptiness. Our mind has closed, and we cannot perceive and process new information.

My proposal with this article is that we can change our condition through a simple process of forgiveness. It’s a practice, and the more we master it, the better our state becomes in life.

  • Forgive yourself for all those decisions that brought you to this condition.
  • Forgive those moments when you did something wrong to someone.
  • Forgive those who presented themselves in front of you with bad intentions.
  • Forgive those places that took away your peace of mind.

Forgiveness can bring miracles in life. When forgiving everyone, including ourselves, there is nothing to hide. We’ve released everything inside us. The patterns of negatively charged emotions stop bothering us. We stop hating ourselves and accept our true nature of beauty and love.

We feel grateful for all those things we have and start working for those we can get through hard work. We stop the process of self-crucifixion and enter the dimension of construction. Creativity starts to flourish, and our lives become heaven.
