Which Books Must You Need To Read?

“A fool may buy all the books in the world, and they will be in his library, but he will be able to read only those he deserves.”

― Swami Vivekananda

A book is a life containing the author’s learnings, mistakes, and corrections. To decide which book one must read is a personal choice based on the mental environment and circumstances of the reader.

Suppose you’re somewhere between fourteen and twenty-one. In that case, the objective of your reading experience must be the installation of specialized knowledge in your mind-body complex so that you can make yourself different from the rest of the crowd.

You can read books on philosophy and psychology to understand humans better. Poetry and novels may help you develop a romantic taste for life.

Avoid self-help books because sooner or later, you will realize that no one can teach you anything, and nothing will work unless you’re willing to take the risk of action. Self-help books can feed your brain with information but can’t inspire you to take the step. For that, you’ve to become a self-help author by yourself.

Understand the needs of the current environment and read books that can help you meet those requirements. If you’re struggling with finances, focus on studying a specialized field in which you can outperform others instead of reading business and finance.

Autobiographies and memoirs may help you to create good habits that can lead you to success. Avoid erotic literature and gossip material.

Treat books like living personalities and understand their persona. Every book you read is the consciousness of the author in that book’s pages. The book you’re going to select for reading will become your friend, and you know which friends you need the most. Choose that book.
