Why Must You Forgive Yourself For Your Mistakes?

Forgiveness is the first step towards any transformation because we can't realize our true worth without releasing the past.

Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does change the future.

— Paul Lewis Boese, 1967 The Weekly Digest

We can’t change the past, but we can create a future. Irrespective of the mistakes we’ve made in the past, there is always a possibility of a better future.

“Now” is the moment where the real power of transformation exists. It’s the epicenter of our destiny. With a conscious decision, we can transform our lives.

The past is nothing but a collection of memories that floats in our awareness. Most of the time, if left unchecked, these memories interfere with the present moment, creating a hostile mental environment within us.

We start hating ourselves for the mistakes we made in the past. We feel guilty about past actions of love and enjoyment.

The ghosts of the past often haunt us by telling a scary story that we can’t achieve anything significant in our lives because of our unguided history.

The truth is far away from these stories told by the thinking mind. You’re more than good enough, and you can transform yourself.

Forgiveness is the first step towards any transformation because we can’t realize our true worth without releasing the past. The ugly past belittles us and stops us from taking efficient action toward success and prosperity.

Forgive yourself for the mistakes that you made in the past. Release all the negatively charged energy stored in your body in the form of afflictions and attachments to memories.

There is no meaning in continuing life while carrying the burden of past pain. You’ve to let it go. Don’t think about your loss; calculate the probability of gain.

Learn from your mistakes and commit never to repeat them in your life. Forgive yourself and forget all that happened to you. Move forward where a bright future is waiting for you.
