Guided Meditation: Forgiveness

Observe the subtle sensations on your face. The mouth, cheeks, and forehead; are they saying something to you?

Take a deep breath. Inhale and exhale. Let go of all the attachments and afflictions. Feel your eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin. Listen to the sound of your heartbeat. Observe the subtle sensations in the body. Witness the flow of fluctuating thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Let it all come and go. Don’t judge anything.

Feel the pain in the body. Look for the concentration of negatively charged energy in your body. Breathe in and breathe out.

Observe the memories coming and going. Notice the sense of guilt and shame in yourself.

Take a mirror and look at your face.

Do you like what you see in the mirror?

Can you forgive the person in the mirror?

Look for the details in your face; the color of your eyes, the hairstyle, the shape of the nose, and the cheeks.

Do you hate what you’re seeing in the mirror?

Do you’ve the desire to punish the person in the mirror?

Observe the subtle sensations on your face. The mouth, cheeks, and forehead; are they saying something to you?

Can you witness the resentment and confusion on your face?

Can you accept her the way she is without changing anything?

I know that it’s hard, but please say it aloud, looking directly into your eyes in the mirror.

“I love what I witness in the mirror. I accept you without the slightest need to change anything, anywhere. I forgive you for all the little and big mistakes you made. I release all kinds of resentment, guilt, and shame. I let go of the need to be punished for the sins I committed in my life. I’m willing to change. Today is the day to start a new life, and I’m ready. With my breath, heart, and soul, I focus on the bright side of life and commit to myself that I’ll live in harmony with the person in the mirror.”
